A Model Solid Waste Management System at Community Level

Role: Team Leader

A multidisciplinary capstone proposal to redevelop and expand the existing Secondary Waste Transfer Station in Lalbag, Dhaka, by integrating segregated collection, waste compaction, recovery and recycling, environmental management, architectural planning, structural analysis, detailed drawings, cost estimation, and phased implementation.

  • Proposed redevelopment of the Secondary Waste Transfer Station in Lalbag, Dhaka.
  • Integrated feasibility, environmental, traffic, architectural, structural, and cost analyses.
  • Developed the 3D model in Revit, performed structural analysis in SAP2000, and prepared drawings in AutoCAD.

Structural Response Analysis of Beams under Various Loading Conditions Using MATLAB

Role: Group Leader

A MATLAB project with GUI integration for analysing cantilever and simply supported beams under point, uniformly distributed, and triangular loads, with automated generation of axial-force, shear-force, bending-moment, and deflection diagrams.

  • Developed the final laboratory project for CE 206 using MATLAB and GUI integration.
  • Implemented computational models, including singularity-function-based analysis.
